Monthly Empties

June Empties Overview

Time it is, it is a new month, which means we have some empties to get through. Now, I will say I don't have too many empties for the month of June, but I did want to go ahead and write this article and get it up because I will not be doing a July empties because I will not be using most of my products for July, as I will be away. So, I wanted to go ahead and do this instead of just saving it to do in August or whatnot. So, we are just going to jump right on into this article.

Makeup and Skincare Products

Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes

So, like I said, we don't have too many empties for the month of June, but we do have some. The first thing I'm going to start out with is these makeup remover cleansing towelettes. These are the Target brand, and this is a travel-size pack that I finished up. I don't normally use makeup wipes anymore; I use those reusable cloths that you can buy in packs at TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshalls. I buy those and just keep using them because they are machine washable and a lot more eco-friendly. So, I haven't used makeup remover wipes in quite some time, but I did go out of town and wanted to have some with me on hand. I ended up buying the travel-size pack, used them all up, and even when I still was using makeup remover wipes, these were my favorite brand to use because they were very gentle on my skin. They didn't strip it, make it burn, or anything like that, which a lot of other makeup remover brand wipes have done, except for this one. So, I really do recommend these, and if I ever happen to need some again, I'm definitely going to repurchase them again, which I actually have already repurchased some because I do need some. But yeah, these are my favorite.

Crest 3D White Toothpaste

Another if you know, you know: the Crest 3D White. This is in the radiant mint flavor. Y'all know how much I love this toothpaste, so of course, I used up another one, and I'm already about to start using a new one, quite literally in the same exact flavor. I love this flavor. I always will repurchase this, always will continue to reuse this. This is my favorite toothpaste ever, y'all.

Nair Body Cream Hair Remover

The next product I used up is actually something that's new to me, which I've never used before. This is the Nair body cream hair remover in the rich cocoa butter and vitamin E scent. Now, I'm not going to lie, this stuff stinks, and a lot of the reviews and stuff I read also said the same thing. It does stink, but y'all, it works. I bought it because I wanted to give it a try as opposed to shaving my arms or legs because I have seen people use this. The one thing I was worried about was it burning and all of that since I have never used this before, but y'all, I must say it did work. I actually bought a new bottle because I really have been liking using this as opposed to shaving. It's a lot easier, at least in my opinion. I know you do have to leave it on for about 5 to 10 minutes depending on how stubborn your hair is, but I really didn't have any problems. The only slight burn that I got from using this was on my arms because I left it on my arms for about 5 minutes because that's what I did with my legs, which I know now not to do. I only need to leave this on my arms for about 2 minutes as opposed to my legs, and that way it does not burn me. But other than that, I really did like it and would be repurchasing this again, which I already have.

Lancome Advanced Genifique Facial Serum

The next product is something that I have fallen in love with and have never used before. This is the Lancome Advanced Genifique. It's a facial serum. I have finally finished this up. Lancome actually sent me this a few months ago, and then I just started using it in my skincare routine to try it out. Y'all, I absolutely love this stuff. I loved how it made my skin feel and look. It left my skin very soft, very supple, very hydrated, and it also blended very well with the other skincare products that I use. I didn't experience any issues with peeling, separating, or it not mixing well. I absolutely love this serum, and they actually sent me another one, but it's the mini version, so it's like this big. So when I run out of that one, I will 100% be repurchasing this serum because it is so freaking good. It's amazing. I'm somebody that has combination skin more so leaning towards the oily side now. It is a little bit on the pricey side, I'm not going to lie, but it's worth every single penny, especially if you can splurge on this. It is worth it 100%.

Hair Products

Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector

I only used one hair product last month, and that is the Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector. I absolutely love Olaplex products. Like I always say, they work so well for my hair with keeping it hydrated, moisturized, and helping with building those bonds back up in your hair, especially if you're somebody that uses heat. This is one of my favorite products ever, my go-to. The only complaint that I will always have about this is that I do wish it came in bigger sizing because I go through these pretty fast. But as far as the product itself goes, 10 out of 10. I absolutely love it as somebody that has curly hair.

Oral Care

TheraBreath Mouthwash

The next product I used up is a mini travel-size version of this: the TheraBreath mouthwash. I tried this out for the very first time, and I finished it. I mentioned how I really did like it and enjoy it. I actually just repurchased this mouthwash in a different flavor that somebody recommended to me, but this one I had no complaints about. I didn't get a lot of that tingling sensation, which it doesn't have any alcohol in it, which is why obviously I wouldn't. But I finished off this one, and like I said, I repurchased the other one because I got this when I was going out of town. I was actually going to pick up a few more because I'm about to go out of town again soon, but I was like I might as well buy the full-size version because I was going to have to get about two to three bottles of this. One bottle of this is like $2.99. The big bottles of them are like $8, so I said it would only make sense for me to buy the big bottle because I would get more for my money as opposed to just buying three of these small ones and paying more for less product. But 10 out of 10 on this product, I really do love this mouthwash. Like I said, it doesn't give me that burning sensation that other mouthwashes have given me, like Crest and Listerine. Those mouthwashes literally burn the inside film off of my mouth; they burn my mouth so bad. But with this, I haven't had any issues, and it definitely keeps my mouth fresh all day long. I have fallen into the hype of TheraBreath, and I would definitely recommend y'all get it if you have not tried this out before.

Bath and Body Works Products

Bath and Body Works Gentle and Clean Foaming Hand Soap

Alright y'all, we're down to the last few items, which are all Bath and Body Works stuff. As you know, I always save the Bath and Body Works items for last. This first item is just a soap. I only used that one soap last month. This is the Strawberry Kiwi, and this is actually their gentle and clean foaming hand soap formula because they do have two different formulas: this one and the other one. But I used up this one. This has notes of strawberry, sweet apple, and tart kiwi. I really did like this scent, and I definitely will be repurchasing this one again when they have a soap sale. I don't know if it's still in store; I feel like it is because this line is always in stock. It's not something that's a seasonal scent, but if it is still in store, I definitely will be repurchasing another one of this scent specifically because it was just so nice, so fresh and fruity, especially perfect for the summertime.

Bath and Body Works Wallflowers

Everything else that I have left are wallflowers, so as y'all know, we're just going to breeze right through these. The first one I used up is Almond Croissant. I would repurchase this one again. I actually have one more left to use, and I really did like using this scent. The next one is Laundry Room Linen, which I also did enjoy, and I definitely would be repurchasing this one again. Now, this one I don't remember what this one actually is—no, I do know what it is now that I remember and I just smelled it. This is Pistachio Toasted Vanilla, which I would also repurchase. I actually do have a couple more of this one left to use up.

Bath and Body Works Scents

So, these last two that I have here are Irish Cream Pound Cake and Vanilla Cloud. Both were pretty decent scents. I wouldn't repurchase Vanilla Cloud again; it's nothing against the scent, I just don't really care for it. I don't really prefer it. But I would repurchase this Irish Cream Pound Cake one again, and I wish I would have gotten more of this one because it smells so good. I only have one left in my collection, so I hope they bring this back sometime soon, next year, even in the fall time. Please, Bath & Body Works, please bring this scent back, put it in a candle version or something because it smells so good, and I really did like this scent as well.

Conclusion

Final Thoughts

You guys, that is everything that I used up for the month of June. Like I said, it wasn't too many products, very short, sweet, to the point of everything I used up. But like I said, I didn't want to hold on to this stuff until the end of July or even August because I want the trash gone. But yeah, that is everything I used up. If y'all have used up anything recently, definitely let me know in the comments down below, or if y'all are working on using up some stuff, also let me know that in the comments down below.
